can’t get numb at the dentist? #shorts

7 reasons you can’t get numb at the dentist:
🦷 the red hair gene
🦷 pH Imbalance
🦷 infection
🦷 trauma or surgery that affected the nerve
🦷 some medications (especially recreational drugs)
🦷 patient anxiety
🦷 poor injection technique

*plz note: novocaine is NO LONGER used at the dentist. since the 1950s we’ve been using different local anesthetics (such as lidocaine)! but for some reason the word novocaine is still being tossed around in convo even though it’s not actually novocaine lol!
